Varsity Volleyball vs FHE

Tuesday night the volleyball team hosted Forrest Hills Eastern for their second matchup of the year. The Pioneers were able to take the first set, but ended up dropping the next three in a 1-3 defeat. 

Kills were tough to come by but Olivia Bergsma led the team with 9 and also led the team with a .263 hitting percentage. Bergsma created a kill on nearly half of her swings (47%). Alex Allen and Belle Gorsline each also added 7 kills. Kennedy Kerr and Libby Gorsline contributed 3 aces a piece toward the team's 10 total aces. Defensively, Gracie Gorsline, who was battling the flu throughout the match, picked up 16 digs and Becca Meyer-Rasmussen brought home three blocks.

Thursday is the last regular season home match which also makes it SENIOR NIGHT! Students who wear a costume to the match will get in free, so dust off your best costumes and come support your Pioneers! 
 

First serve for F/JV will be at 5:30p with Varsity around 6:30.
